Will Blockbuster Inc. make it through Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection?

It’s not looking good for Blockbuster, Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Last Friday the U.S. Trustee assigned to the case asked the judge to convert it’s chapter 11 case to a chapter 7. This means liquidation. According to Dow Jones Bankruptcy Review today, the Trustee said that Blockbuster Inc. is “administratively insolvent” and not likely to propose a feasible plan that will allow it to exit chapter 11. So will Blockbuster make it through it’s Chapter 11 reorganization? Let’s wait and see.
